#ndm12 The end of the Night of the Museums at #NachtResidentz
This night club is so popular among the Düsseldorfers that there is nothing else to add. It seems like everyone from the city spends at least one part of their night journey here. And the place is so big that it can fit them all, should they decide to come at the same time. It doesn’t have much to do with art, although there are some cool video installations, but it’s still a good choice for the closing party of the Night of the Museums.
#ndm12 @ BIB - damenundherren … This is a strange place, but nicely strange. They make art and then they throw cakes at it and it’s art again. It’s dark, smokey and people dance. In a circle, right next to the art. The whole scene looks like a ritual but with whiskey and DJ. Just one more proof that art does not belong solely to the museums.
Oberbilker Alee 35. A must go!
#ndm12 Getting into the Matrix through a street lamp…
It got dark very quickly. Actually everything happened very quickly. I had this feeling that I got into the Matrix completely - only to come out at 2AM. It was so overwhelming this photoblogging - the venues, the people, the music… I still can’t stop thinking about this night. I guess I never will.
Photoset with 1 note
#ndm12 Explosion of colours on the painter’s easel! An artist’s studio just behind the pretty portal gallery.
#ndm12 The lovely pianist @ pretty portal. He played so beautifully, I could have stayed by his side all night long! Who is he finally? Qui est-il?
Et la galerie - c’est une petite marveille quelue part à Düsseldorf…
#ndm12 In KAI-10 there was a lot to be enjoyed. I appreciated the Hidden Sounds exhibition. Moreover there were hidden sounds indeed. My favourite was this gorilla in the trees (on the photograph above).
#ndm12 More of these colourful decorative lamps. Brought to you from another planet by KAI-8.
#ndm12 Oversized red eyeball! This is what you get if you dare enter KAI-8. Tens of humongous eyeballs /slash decorative lamps/ staring at you! It’s OK, if you like being the centre of attention, I guess;)
